Our development department would like to have a list of donors with their donation amounts and their seats for a specific show. As of right now the closest I can get is for them to pull the list of donors they want to include in the list. They can then use that list as a filter on the Performance seating book SSRS report, but it will report just their seating locations and not their donations. We can run an output set for donations but it wont include their seats.
Has anyone worked out a simple way to get one report for both seating locations and report without having to run separate reports and then manually combine them? We just launched TSTATS so are still learning about its capabilities, but is there a way for TSTATS to give us a rundown like this as well, despite these data points being in different cubes?
Have you tried creating a list pull that includes their membership level and specific performance date? I'm not sure how you could get their exact seat though...it might be a custom report. We have a custom report that pulls from a list of our VIP donors and gives us a generic report that includes their membership level, subscription package, and what their seats are in that package. It's an overview of what their seats are, doesn't include a performance date, and doesn't update if they exchange to a different performance. I'm not sure how helpful that will be for you...but there should be a way to have your database person create a custom report.
