We have a donor who would like to make a pledge, but would like the gift to be designated for two different shows in our season. We track our show gifts using "Designations" in Tessitura, so we're wondering if there's any way in Tessitura for us to set up one pledge, and to have multiple designations on a single gift entry?

No. Each contribution can only have one Designation. You could potentially use a custom field to indicate the second Designation, but you would then need to create custom reports in order to pull that information. I would suggest splitting the pledge in two and Designating each one separately.
I really wish Designations were Tags and that we could add as many as we want and search by them as well!! #datarevolution
