Assigning acknowledgment letters with Premiums

When in the contribution entry screen, if I add premiums via the Premium tab, all of a sudden every single acknowledgment  for the annual fund is assigned (not just the one I actually need). Is there a way to set up the premium so that I can decide which acknowledgment to assign, rather than having to delete all of the others each time I assign a premium?
