This may be a question more for Tessitura technical but any further information would be appreciated. At the UK conference in 2013 the issue of how to flag both an N1/N2 initiator to the same payment was raised and I'm not sure if this has yet been confirmed for v12.5. I may well have missed it so apologies if this is the case.
To give some context we put our contributions on the household and Gift Aid declarations sit on the individuals. We have a large number of records where a payment comes from a joint account from both individuals on the household. We need to flag the payment as such, ie coming from both. This would then hopefully match the Gift Aid status of these individuals to show who we can claim against. Ie 50/50.

On v12 we have found that for household accounts if we add an individual as an initiator then Tessitura checks that account for a Gift Aid Declaration and adds the Gift Aid payment information to that account. If no initiator is selected it assumes it lies with the Household and will use check the household account for the declaration not the individuals.
This has been a little bit of an issue for us as our website isn't designed to use initiator.
The joint account hasn't affected us as from what I can tell our process is to fully exclude any payments from a joint account.
