Hi All,
We've had a few donors requesting that we only contact them once a year for their gift.
Does anyone out in Tessitura-land have any clever solutions with such requests?
Thanks in advance for any assistance!
Cheers,

Hi Ben,
We would include these constituents in the ‘No Ask’ list we track in Attributes so they get supressed in extractions. Then include a task tickler/reminder scheduled a month out prior to their annual gift as a prompt to contact them.
Hope that helps,
Katherine

We use an attribute called Fundraising that has dropdown values of “No Fundraising”, and “Solicit Once A Year”. We also have an attribute called Solicitation Month. For anyone who requests to be solicited once a year we code them with that value in the Fundraising attribute and put what month they’d like to be solicited. You can then use those attributes in lists/extractions to suppress or add those donors to your solicitations.
Hope that helps.

Thank you both! Very helpful solutions.
Ben
We created an attribute called "Solicitation Limits" with values of "calendar year end" and "fiscal year end" but you could create any values you needed.
It seems like there are lots of organizations using attributes for this sort of thing and it's working great for us.
