Hello All,
We are looking for a best practice on how to handle free tickets to our donors. Currently we created a ticket coupon/voucher that directs the customer to contact their development rep. After this year, we have found this works ok, but we are curious if anyone else is doing something better. Every year we need to setup a dummy performance for these vouchers and we are wondering if there is a better way.
Is anyone giving their donors actual tickets? Or a coupon that is not generated by Tessitura?

We have an acknowledgment type for anyone receiving a voucher. We then send them the voucher itself with their acknowledgment, and have the donor redeem it in person at the box office or contact me directly. That's when they receive the ticket. We also have a comp code tied to that kind of voucher so we can track it.
