Report for Total Donor Giving

I believe you can build an output set to get the total giving for a constituent. You will have to work from a list of constituents though.

Is there a report that can report total dollar amount given by a donor so that if I saved it in excel I can sort by dollar amount. I know that the New COntributions report will give me total given by campaign and I can sort by dollar amount that way, but I want total giving and be able to sort by one dollar amount.

To create the list of constituents click on TOOLS at the top of the screen and then LIST MANAGER.

Once you have created your list of constituents, you then build an output set to give you the information you need from each constituent account. Go to TOOLS and then OUTPUT SET BUILDER. Choose from the items on the list to retrieve the constituent name, address, phone, giving, etc. The order in which you choose the items in your output set will be the order on the finished excel sheet.

To run the output set against the constituent list, go to REPORTS and then LISTS AND OUTPUT SETS and then EXECUTE AN OUTPUT SET. Fill in the criteria and see if Tess gives you the information you want.

A lot of the lists and output sets are trial and error for me until I can make it work.
