HI,
I am trying to pull a list of donors who have donated for the past consecutive 5 years. I am having trouble figuring out the best way to pull this list. Any ideas?
Thanks!
One way could be using a combination of lists. You would create 5 individual lists of total donors in each year. Then in a sixth list you would ask for people that have all 5 of those lists. So your criteria would look like:List IN (list 1)List HAS (list 2)List HAS (list 3)List HAS (list 4)List HAS (list 5)
Since I don’t know SQL, I do it this way:
· First create SEPARATE lists for each year of giving, i.e. 2009 Donors, 2010 Donors……, 2013
· Next, create a list with each of the above lists as a single line item and using an operator of “HAS”, i.e.
o List has 2009 Donors
o List has 2010 Donors
o List has 2011 Donors
o List has 2012 Donors
o List has 2013 Donors
This list will produce a list of only donors who gave all 5 years.

Thank you!
If your campaigns are set up this way I would probably just do
Contribution Campaign IN (your FY14 campaigns)Contribution Campaign HAS (your FY13 campaigns)Contribution Campaign HAS (your FY12 campaigns)...and so on.
There is a little bit of room for error there--if for some reason somebody had their only contribution for one or more of those years adjusted to $0, they would still get pulled into this list even though they hadn't actually made a contribution that year. If that's close enough for you I think this should work. The key is to make sure you don't use "IN" more than once. Otherwise, if you want all donors over a certain amount for each of those years, or if you want to include additional criteria, the multiple lists suggested above are probably your best bet.
