Does anyone have any experience with discounting memberships and how to process them in Tessitura. We are launching our membership program and we would like to be able to offer certain people the ability to buy memberships at a discounted rate. For example, we have a community partner that is going to offer our members a discount at their facility and in return, their members would be able to purchase a discounted membership for our organization ($500 membership with benefits for $100 or something along those lines). I can't seem to find anything about how we can set up Tessitura to do that.

No I did not, still hoping:-)
Here at BAM we will discount memberships.
In effect we advertise membership at one dollar amount say $75.00.
However in the system we set the bottom dollar amount for the level at the greatest discount we will accept for that membership and take the difference as and Additional Voluntary Contribution (AVC).
So the level advertised at $75.00 will have a membership rule set up with say a
$68.00 - 124.99 range.
The next level might be advertised as $150.00
however the membership rules would say $125 to $249.99
and so on.
