Hello,
We are currently working on a new website and would like to offer the ability to redeem benefits online, like parking vouchers, drink vouchers, etc. If you are doing this, what is your current development business practice for how you process and store this information in Tessitura?
Currently, we manually add most benefits to premiums, which is a cumbersome process. The reason it is mostly manual is because our membership benefit structure is not cumulative and varies based on where and how you contribute funds.
Any feedback on your internal process and data entry methods would be most appreciated. Thank you in advance!
Amber

Hi Marta, this is hugely interesting. May I ask how donors who's allocation have been fulfilled are treated in the system? How do you then deactivate the attribute when it is used? Is this an automated process or manual? Thanks, Victoria From: Marta Garczarczyk <bounce-martagarczarczyk9387@tessituranetwork.com> Sent: 2/25/2014 12:29:31 PMAmber, We offer a suite of membership related benefits online dependent upon your giving level. We do most of this based on attributes which determine your eligibility. For example, our more complicated benefit of allowing donors to CHOOSE which events they want to attend is administered online by an attribute which has a value of 1, 2, 3 or VIP (unlimited) that lets the web know how many events that donor can choose. For a simpler benefit (like redeeming one free gift or our season companion) the attribute value is set to eligible. The attribute gets added (and removed based on expiration) from a donor's record based on a script that IT has written that looks at the membership level/contribution and determines their eligibility. We load the attribute on everyone's record at the beginning of the fiscal year and then the script keeps it up to date as newly eligible donors come on, donors upgrade or expire. I hope that helps explain it a little. Let me know if you have any other questions!
