Hello,
I just ran the program name list report. I have just learned that this report does not pull preferred/program names attached to accounts that only have soft credits. Does nayone have a work around or a custom report so that I can pull anyone that has a program name that fits my criteria?
I feel you pain - has anyone answered you? I can't pull those with soft credits either.
Hi Julia,
No one answered me. I had forgotten about this until you e-mailed me. I can’t remember how I solved it. We are actually going to do away with soft credits and use associations from now on.

Michael,
I'm guessing you don't use memberships? We create our lists for our programs based on membership level.Dale
I have a view I've tweaked over the years to produce some pretty good results which I use in list manager and output set builder to generate things like our program listings that I would be happy to share if you want to have an IT person email me directly. It will take a little customizing on your side.
Our solution is to add the recognition name for the playbill on the Program Names radio button in the hard credit (legal donor) record. When you save the list to Excel, you can copy/paste to Word and convert tables to text, then adjust all alphabetization in Word. It works well for us.

Hi all,
I thought I would throw my solution out there in case anyone else has this problem. This will only work if you are using a list when running the Program List Listing report. All I did was create a new constituency, "UT Soft Credit" in this case, and I added that constituency with an appropriate expiration date. Then in my list donor list criteria I just added a Constituency "in" UT Soft Credit in the OR box. Works perfectly.
