Matching Gifts

Hi Everyone!

Looking for a little guidance, one of our donors regularly donates to the Center on behalf of his parents to celebrate special occasions--birthdays, anniversaries, etc. He has requested that all membership benefits be given to his parents, who are also donors to our organization.  This donor also receives a matching gift from his employer. My challenge being, we typically enter matching gifts on the employer's account and assign the membership to the employee. However, in this unique case, I would then like to further assign the employee's membership to his parent's account for our benefit fulfillment purposes, as well as general reporting and list management.

Has anyone else encountered a similar issue? If so, how does your organization process gifts of this nature?
