I have a contact for an organization we work with whose name has an accent above a letter in her name. Will the Tessitura Client software recognize accents?
I have a work around for accents that seems to work. In a Word document, type the name and insert the appropriate accent, then copy and paste the name into Tessitura. Tessitura will recognize the accents when updating Gen Sal. I also add an alias of the name without accents so that when someone searches for that name without the accents, the patron will still show up in your results.
