We are in the process of transitioning our gift store items into Tessitura to be sold, as we are having significant issues with our current point of sale partners. Can anyone who has done this previously share some best practices and tips on how to go about using Tessitura to sell gift shop items? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

We also sell merchandise items through Tessitura, and not through our tnew site. It can be time consuming but we build out each item just like we would a performance and we use fees to automatically add the city and state taxes. Once it's built out, it's a pretty easy process for our staff to process. Most of our merch is gallery sales so, in ticketing setup we have a retail taxabe title, that then goes into a production of gallery catalogs, and then the prod season of 20-21 gallery catalogs, and then each catalog title is built in the performance. Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but that's how we do it.

We don't use Quicksale, but I think the setup would be pretty easy if your staff is already used to that type of sale, for sure!
