Hi everyone!
We are potentially going to be able to have an outdoor concert (completely dependent on state guidelines) and we thought that creating socially distanced circles for patrons to sit in would be the easiest way to setup something. However, upper management wants to charge per person, instead of per circle. We would have some circles that are up to 2 people, and some that are up to 4, but I'm not sure the best way to create that in the facility, so that multiple people can't reserve the same circle.
Hopefully, I explained that well enough, but happen to provide more info if needed!
Thanks!
We did something similar in July but our circles were basically general admission and were first-come-first-seated the night of the event. Our state had guidelines of 200 allowed for outdoor events (at that time) so we were we set to sell about 180 just as a precaution. As we neared the concert date we analyzed orders to see the number of tickets per order, and that is how we determined how many circles to make and of what size. We had ushers on hand that helped point guests to areas based on their party size, and we had a few extra circles in the bad/sides just in case our night-of numbers didn't coordinate with what ticket sales told us.
