Update on Upcoming Development Efforts

Hi everyone,

I’d like to update you regarding what we’re currently working on to serve you during this challenging time.

Based on feedback and suggestions from the Tessitura community, we have identified three (3) new improvements specific to closure, reschedule, cancellation and refund activity. Timelines below are current projections and are subject to change.

Easily move event dates
Currently projected for May in the 15.1 and 15.0 service packs.

Many members are moving events to future dates. This feature enables you to more easily move a performance entity and all the associated dates. This will be a new screen in the Tessitura client that allows you to change things like mode of sale, price type, offer and publish dates relative to the performance date change — all from a single interface. The first release will not include the ability to move the performance between production seasons; we anticipate including that functionality in the June service packs for 15.1 and 15.0.

Easily apply on account funds to other payments
Currently projected for June in the 15.1 service pack.

We recognize that many of you cancelled events and orders prior to the Event Cancellation Utility becoming available, and decided to put the money on account. This an extension of the work delivered with the Event Cancellation Utility, and it will allow you to take money previously put on account to a specific on account method across a list of patrons.  You will be able to apply those funds to a gift certificate, contribution, Gift Aid contribution, check refund, or credit card refund.

Print tickets on partially paid orders
Currently projected for June in the 15.1 and 15.0 service packs.

This functionality helps accommodate scenarios like a subscription order with a payment plan, where the payment plan is being extended but the first production or productions in the season occur before all payment in the billing schedule have been made. This will allow you to include paid sub line items in Batch Print runs for orders that are partially paid, and allow you manually print paid sub line items for a specific order from the order details screen.

Thank you for your ongoing feedback, and please reach out if you have any questions. We look forward to delivering these items to you as soon as we can!
