Our usual daily reporting focuses on transactions, but interest is shifting elsewhere with sales shut down.
I can build all sorts of Lists and also dabble with Tessitura Analytics, but then tend to hit a wall. With the Lists, I'd like to be able to schedule a Report to email counts (and not all the constituent details). With Analytics, most things non-transactional are a future phase of the product--and the once-a-day data update is not quite a fit for what the execs are asking for right now.
There's no DBA on staff and we're not even really set up to have someone in-house install a custom report. Anyone have suggestions about how I can implement some efficiencies for monitoring things? Right now, I'm manually grabbing data from several different platforms.
(If it helps consider an answer, the data of interest is things like Email Opens/Clicks (from the system table that WordFly talks to) and new email sign ups.)
Thanks,
Jamie
Might be time to get your feet wet with SQL in SQL Server Management Studio. You're a RAMP client? Do you have access to that in your Citrix apps list?
RAMP, yep. But I'm not the one with access to that portion of things. We've got someone who is getting his feet wet with SQL, but not sure the hem of the pants is even rolled up yet.
If you're game you should ask for SSMS access to Test: can't do much harm there (and you should just be practicing select statements anyway).
