What are all of your box office managers doing to stay busy when there is no money coming in for our seasons?
I have a full time coordinator and myself. With COVID taking a toll on our sales (an $8 million operation). We are doing trainings and looking at all of these forums, but i hope there is something that i am missing.
Thanks!
Hi Chris -
We have been asked this a couple times. We are encouraging people to think through their list of "Rainy Day Projects" -- those projects could include things like this: 1) updating Tessitura (and TNEW) to the latest version and service pack if you aren't there already :) 2) taking a look at duplicates and working to get a handle on those - yes that would include merging duplicates that need reviewing personally, but it also could include creating protocols and standards for data entry at your org, to help prevent dupes in the future 3) contact permissions are of major importance in transitioning to v16 - you could familiarize yourself with that functionality, and start thinking about how to successfully implement it at your org 4) when is the last time you reviewed your web purchase path? Do you love it? How could you improve the process? 5) upskilling on Tessitura Analytics - not sure where this sits in your org, but taking time to really understand what happened last season as it relates to this season "so far" would be worthy time invested 6) Hey - have you been using pricing rules? If not, then now would be a good time to recap how you managed pricing last year, and map out how you could manage pricing next year using pricing rules.
Gosh, there must be a million ideas. These were off the top of my head and based on what we've been seeing. Happy for others to chime in!
