I attended a Government Funder (Australia Council) Arts and Wellbeing Forum webinar last November. It was a wonderful talk in and of itself. However something that I found really interesting was the accessiBe accessibility widget they used as a supporting tool for the webinar. The accommodations cover a fairly broad range of disabilities that a user can fine tune or use as a profile group. Profiles include Seizure Safe, Visually Impaired, Cognitive disability, ADHD friendly, Blind Users et al.
Another group that I follow for autistic news, Aucademy, use a similar widget called Userway for their site. The widgets are still up on those Arts and Wellbeing Forum and Aucademy sites if you want to have a play.
I’m wondering if anyone has used something like this on their site and how you have found it.

I stumbled across another the other day called Reachdeck https://www.texthelp.com/en-gb/products/reachdeck/ that I had a play with and like. Being a completionist I thought that I'd add it to the list. They all advertise accessibility auditing tools which is a helpful service.

There are quite a number of accessibility overlay plugins but there's been a lot of controversy about these tools, often marketed as a 'one line of code' solution to accessibility. Approximately only 40% of accessibility issues can be identified through tools such as this and in turn only up to 40% remedied.
They do have their use cases, often as an interim measure. I'd recommend watching and reading the following two links:
