I love that your theatre is doing this! It's something I'm trying to push my own organization on, and something that Tessitura itself doesn't always handle very well. Unfortunately with seating, I doubt Tessitura's built-in seat maps allow for the level of customization that you're looking for. I'm not an Accessible UX expert by any means, however, having rich descriptions tied to each specific seat would be a huge step up from typical seat maps. Include things like:
That way users who can't necessarily see a seating map can still get an idea about the type of seats they're picking. Plus you're providing additional info to all of your patrons as a bonus! Just be sure that whatever map you're using is keyboard navigable.
