Gender, Pronouns and Prefixes

Hi Friends!
SF Ballet is looking to put new processes in place regarding gender, pronouns and prefixesI am looking to chat with other organizations who have implemented the pronouns feature in Tessitura and possibly have contacted their patrons about providing their pronouns/updating their prefix.
Thanks in advance!

  • Bumping this to the top. Does anyone  collect pronouns on TNEW? I know Preferred Pronouns are in Attributes in the application, but how can we collect Pronouns on TNEW (without it being Form Data). Is there a way to make an information field generate in Attributes?

I may cross post this too.

    Thank you,

    Jessica

  • Very interested to hear how this turned out (or is going)

  • Hi Megan, Jessica, Sarah, and Roland,

I am the Business Analyst for TNEW on the Innovation Team, and am so excited to hear that you are thinking about collecting pronouns for your patrons in Tessitura and on TNEW. Pronoun selection is a new feature in Tessitura v16. While it will not be in the initial release of TNEW v16, we currently have plans to offer a select list to customers in their Account Section in a subsequent feature release shortly after then.

Our current plan is to offer a filtered list of pronouns that could be selected on the Update Account or Create Account page that would be initially configured in the existing TR_PRONOUN reference table. That reference table is also new with Tessitura v16. In the meantime, I would love to hear about any other ways you have put this into place as well as any feedback you have about our plans for incorporating this into TNEW.

    Thanks,

    Paul
