Does anyone know if you can put the same performance in two different fixed packages? We've got a series where every concert has two performances except one, which would be in both the Friday and Saturday package. I was thinking about using a placeholder in each package but I'm wondering if I don't have to. Thoughts? I'm going to play around with it once I've got the performances built, I'm just planning right now.
I think theoretically you could but it would eliminate the seats from one package.... because all the seats are the same across fixed performances. So if the seats are taken in one package they wouldn't be available across the board in the other.
You will also run in to issues with rollovers if there are common dates in the packages.
It's a different venue so it wouldn't overlap with the seats in the other performances. But the same date for the rollovers is definitely an issue. The placeholder, exchanged manually into the real event, would work this year, but still creates the question about how to keep the two packages from taking the same seats in that event. I'll keep thinking.
If it's a different venue wouldn't it have to be a flex package anyways? Fixed packages would be all for the same venue.
It can be a super package. Fixed seat in each venue.
Oh yeah that's true too. So then yeah the rollovers would be the biggest problem.
