Apply for the Tessitura DEAI Advisory Committee!

Hi, everyone! Tessitura has announced that they have opened applications for 4 open positions on the Community DEAI Advisory Committee. The Community DEAI Advisory Committee provides a point of substantive communication and collaboration between the Tessitura community and Tessitura to center diversity, equity, accessibility and inclusion in Tessitura community programs and across the Tessitura company. The advisory committee also aims to inspire Tessitura members to advance DEAI in the Tessitura community, in their organizations, and in the arts and culture sector.

Committee members serve a two-year term and are expected to:

• Attend four quarterly two-hour meetings per year
• Respond to group emails
• Participate in DEAI content curation and/or creation meetings, as needed
• Participate in Tessitura affinity groups, as a co-chair of a group or active participant
• Monitor the DEAI Forum and respond to forum posts
• Agree to and follow the code of conduct

Compensation for time and emotional labor will be US$500 per year, paid bi-annually. To learn more about the advisory committee’s aims and structure, please review our charter.

Applications close Wednesday, December 7 and will be reviewed by Tessitura staff, including members of the DEAI Committee. Applicants will be notified of the status of their application by January 20, 2023.
