VMHC is super excited about TLCC Denver. I believe we are sending at least three people this year! Who else will be attending?The Virginia Tessitura Community will be gathering during the first part of Neighborhood Networking on Monday, August 15th from 5:30 PM to 6:25 PM. From the TLCC schedule: "Join us for a fun, social evening of Neighborhood Networking! During this progressive-style dinner, you’ll participate in 3 distinct block parties in different locations where you’ll meet and dine with “neighbors” from similar regions, interest areas, and genres. Get ready for food, drinks, and fun as we wrap up Day 1 of TLCC Denver!" There will be Tessitura staff to guide you to the right spot. This part of the night will be a standing reception. I'll be getting in on Saturday (I didn't realize there was almost nothing going on Sunday and I was worried about flight cancellations.) If this is your first time attending or you are flying solo, let me know!
Remember to book your hotel room ASAP, if you haven't already! I think the TLCC block is sold out but there may be some additional rooms available. There will also be shuttles running to and from the hotels near the 61st & Pena train station.
If you aren't able to go this year, we will be planning a quarterly meet-up very soon. Start thinking about if you would prefer another in-person or virtual event.

Colonial Williamsburg is taking a pass this year, while we're still in the throes of on-boarding. I'm looking forward to hearing from all of you--and having another meet-up. Maybe attendees can let the rest of us know what we missed!

Heads up to all who are going, don't wait until the last minute to enter in your info into the CLEAR app. If you are already vaxxed and have your booster you may still need a negative test. When I entered in all my vaccination info into the CLEAR pass app it told me that I needed another booster. My last booster was over a year ago. So everyone might want to be tested just in case. Malia and I are arriving on Sunday morning. Fingers crossed our flights go well!!
Another update, I checked with Tessitura and they will accept a PCR test or rapid antigen test from any valid testing facility. Like already stated it has to be no more than 48 hours from arrival. Also since in one of the emails they used no earlier than 3PM mountain Time on the 12th that would be 5PM East Coast time. If anyone has any questions about anything Conference related feel free to post here.
