TNEW Users - SYOS on ipone

Is anyone using TNEW online ticketing with an alternative to FLASH for the SYOS?

I don't know if an alternative is even available but we're looking at the whole sales via mobile phones idea.

Reading through the forums it looks like HTML5 versions were being discussed a while back but I can't find anything where it was made real.

How are other venues doing mobile sales?

Many thanks

    Hey Simon-

Thanks for your question. Good news on a couple fronts here-- TNEW v4.5 (coming out late June 2013) will incorporate a new HTML5-based SYOS application which is compatible with iOS and other devices that don't support Flash.

Also wanted to mention that for a truly mobile-optimised experience we also offer TN Mobile Plus (info at http://www.tessituranetwork.com/network/Products/Network%20Products%20Services/TN%20Mobile%20Plus.aspx) which offers a mobile-optimised browser experience as well as iOS and Android apps. TNMP will also be using the same HTML5-based SYOS application in version 2.0 (in the June/July time frame) so whether you’re using TNEW on a mobile device or TNMP we’ve got you covered. Let us know if you have any other questions!

    Regards,
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

This is exactly what I was looking for!

Basically we've just signed up with Wordfly and are looking to build a fast, interesting email + web / mobile conversation with our customers. We're thinking on the lines of wordfly working with a flipbook brochure or mini leaflet, with a click through to booking page. But obviously at the moment the flash element on the SYOS effectively stops the process for mobile users. The TN Mobile Plus option looks really great and is a possible alternative.

I'll read through the info pages and have a look at the webinar.

Great news on the v4.5 having HTML5 - I was in the process of looking at upgrading to v4 so may now wait till v4.5

    Thanks again

    Simon
