Hi,
We have been having no success at all in taking International Maestro Cards (neither via the Web, the Telephone nor at the Box Office desk).
Despite assurances from our Bank that we are permitted to take International Maestro Cards (we currently have Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode set-up online – which is one of the required stipulations), we regularly find that the customer’s card has been authorised and charged but Tessitura maintains that the transaction has failed and the charge is reversed (leaving the customer with no tickets, but a charge on their card).
I’m assuming this is a problem in the way that Tessitura stores details of International Maestro Cards and that we need to make adjustments to the current tables associated with Credit/Debit Cards. The International cards can start with 50, 60 – 69 and 56 – 58 and only those starting with 67 are UK Maestro Cards (and we have no problem taking those).
Has anyone managed to crack this particularly hard nut?
I'd be really grateful for your feedback as (despite all appearances to the contrary) it is Summer and quite a few foreign tourists wishing to come to the Royal Opera House are being frustrated by our inability to take International Maestro.
Cheers Keith

Hi Keith,
We have been told by CommsXL that it International Maestro Cards can only been taken online with 3DSecure or via a Customer Present Transaction.
We are currently testing our 3DSecure so I have had to set up a seperate International Maestro line in TR_ACCOUNT_TYPE, and added a new Payment Method to ensure that they could be taken via the web
I only did this in our Test environment so that we could test 3DSecure and get those tests passed. As far as I know after I added the new Payment Method, there were no issues with accepting the cards on our Staging Website. As we were only testing against the cards supplied by our bank, I can't comment as to any problems with customer cards; but the test cards were being accepted online and showing orders in our Test Tessitura too.

I entered a card refix of 50 and with the TrCardtype Ind of MOTO. I only did this as the test cards we had from the bank all started 50; I hadn't looked at any of the other card ranges.
Sorry I can't be of any more help!
