Afternoon all,
Firstly, many thanks to the everyone involved in the recent Tessitura UK User conference at the WMC in Cardiff. Very well organised and I found it extremely valuable.
Secondly a question, I'm currently working on the re-design of our ticket wallets, and am keen to get some feedback on what others used ? Or if there was anyone that didn't use them at all ??
We currently use a thick cardboard gatefold style with information printed on all four sides, but am considering moving to a double sided version instead. We have T's & C's and some marketing info on our tickets currently, so would not necessarily have to include this on the wallets too.
At present we use the same wallets for all fulfillment, but are considering using bespoke ones for Gift Vouchers.
Thanks in advance
Simon
Hi Simon,
We don’t use ticket wallets. We have two different header designs- one for COBOs where the customer name and performance info is more prominent, and a postal one where we have an address layout that shows through in a window mailing envelope.
Like you, our Ts & Cs are already on the tickets, so we generally feel that it’s not worth the expense to have ticket wallets done too. For gift vouchers, we have some really lovely greeting cards (with historic photos on) that customers can purchase at a huge discount.
Cheers,
Kathleen

Thanks Kathleen, thats very useful.
Regards
Many thanks for your kind comments re the conference!
re this enquiry, we do use Ticket Wallets. The tickets sit inside the wallet. It ensures that the tickest don't slide around the envelope, gives the customere information plus we think it looks nice!
The wallet is double sided and folds over into DL envelope size, with a window for the address label to show up in. The outside is quite plan - and on the back it just gives our address and says that we are a registered charity.
The inside gives info on our free performances/our tours/restaurants/upsells the idea to join our email list/gives details on getting here and then gives our contact details.
It doesn't include terms and conditions - these can be found on the website, plus shorter version in brochure and even shorter version on the back of the tickets themselves.
I hope this helps. If you want me to send you an email version, let me know.
