Good Morning!
Thank you to those of you who sent me topics that you want to discuss tomorrow. Here is the agenda so far:
1. Introductions
2. CSI’s –who uses this function and in what capacity?
3. Packages – Who uses these and does anyone sell these online?
4. Upselling – restaurants/merchandise/programmes/pre-interval drinks
5. Ticket Inventory – Hold Codes vs. Allocations
6. N-Scan – Who uses this and how was this “sold” to the rest of the organisation?
7. Group Bookings Online
8. Ticket Stock - please could everyone who is attending bring a sample of their ticket stock & designs if possible? There has been a request for “share and compare”!
To get the most out of this discussion please could you all come ready to share your experiences with the rest of the group if you are currently using or doing any of the agenda items? Equally, if you have an interest in any of the above topics please come ready to ask questions to those who have already them set up. The more interaction there is within the group, the more we’ll all get out of the session.
If anyone has a burning desire to cover any other topic that I have not already included please let me know by emailing me on liz.baird@wmc.org.uk by the end of today and I will add this to the agenda.
Logistics
For anyone who would like to come along this discussion, I’ll meet you at the registration desk (which will be situated behind the Ticket Office) from 3.30pm. We’ll aim to go up to the meeting room at 3.45 for a 4pm start. If you’re going to be late just go to the registration desk and they will let you know where to go. Don’t worry if you haven’t got time to go to your hotel beforehand – we’ll have somewhere you can store your bags.
Registration will be open from 3pm-8pm, but you don’t need to worry about registering before the discussion if you are tight for time – they’ll be plenty of time afterwards.
Following the discussion (which will finish about 5.30pm) they’ll be a bit of time to go back to your hotel or just head straight to the bar!
You’re invited to ffresh Bar from 6pm and the restaurant will open at 8pm for an evening of socialising and networking. They’ll be a buffet and free drink followed by ‘Battle of the Karaoke!’
Finally, if you are planning to attend this, please could you send me a quick email Liz.Baird@wmc.org.uk so that I can get a firmer idea of numbers?
