UK evening out in San Antonio - Sunday 23rd August

Hey - it's that time again! As some of you will know in Nashville last year we had a UK Tessitura group evening out on the Sunday night (following the Bonus Prelude sessions). I think we all had a good time? Apologies for those of you who have already had this email, I thought this was a better way to send out the information.

I am looking at organising another trip this year, probably to a restaurant on the Riverwalk.The restaurants I'm looking at are under a mile from the hotel so pretty easy for us to just walk to (although I'm sure there will be transport if anyone needs it).

I'm hoping to book a table (although Demos wouldn't let us book last year so I'm just hoping!) so if you could pass this around the San Antonio attendees at your organisation over the next few weeks and let me know how many people might be coming along, I can get something sorted out! I know there's a free evening on the Tuesday but this evening out last year was a great way for people to get to know each other before everything started.

An update on this evening out - anyone who has so far responded to me now has a place reserved at the Iron Cactus on the Riverwalk. We are booked in from 6.30pm so I'd suggest meeting in the foyer of the hotel at about 6pm - I'll try and get round to you all in the daytime to confirm.

A small note on this - if you decide you will not be coming after all, please let me know, even if it is just on the day, as I need to confirm numbers.

Hi

Unfortunately the restaurant can no longer accomodate the numbers we would need to all get together on Sunday night, unless we go for a private buffet option. Having looked at the menu we have decided to cancel the meal and just get together for drinks later in the evening.

So, we will now be meeting at 9pm at Pat O'Briens which is just around the corner from the hotel (map here).

Here is a list of restaurants on the Riverwalk so you can get yourselves some food beforehand!
