Email Providers - what does everyone use?

Good Morning.

I'm after some help / guidance regarding email providers, particularly ones that work with Tessitura.

If you can spare 5 mins, please could you let me know:

- what email system you use

- whether it integrates with Tessitura

- and if you have any general feelings (either way) about your current provider - in terms of flexibility, usability, cost, how it works with Tessitura (and any other systems)

Many thanks,

  • Hi Vicky,

In my previous organisation and in my current we use Wordfly which fully integrates with Tessitura (as in writes both ways).

When it changed to Modern Editor that is really easy to use when creating the actual eflyers.

There support is really good, swift to reply (given the time difference) and they are genuinely nice people. Cost is dependant on the size of your database so you may need to check that out but I don't recall it being particularly expensive.

Two of our consortium partners use Mail2 (the other integrated option) but I'm still learning about that so still slightly bias towards Wordfly.

    Thanks

    Kelly

P.S. They do really good badges at TLCC

    Hi Kelly

Thank you so much for responding. From previous replies, it does seem that Wordfly is the best option but a lot of people have mentioned Mail2 as well. It's great that they both offer demos, so I think the best option is to try them both out.

You mention in your post that it changed to Modern Editor - I've just had a google to look this up as I hadn't heard of Modern Editor before and now i'm slightly confused to what the difference is between this and Wordfly. Can you help shed any light?

    Cheers

    Vicky

  • Hi Vicky,

Sorry, Modern Editor is the name of the part of Wordfly where you design the actual email - recently had an update and marketing colleagues find that aspect really easy to use.

Yes, definitely get a demo from both! I've heard mail2 do great things with surveys and RSVPs etc.
