Defining constituent header

Hi,

We're in the process of deciding what we want to show in the header of a constituent and wondered what everyone else is doing? We're going to go for including date of last visit, and to flag up with big BLING sign for large donors but wondered what else is helpful to show?

thanks,

giles (PFT - go live Dec 09!, - er, or maybe 2010...sometime)

  • We show how long it was in days since the customer last booked a ticket (to try and stop people exceeding ticket limits on Rock and Pop shows.

If they have booked Parking, Restaurant or Accessible Parking in the past for up selling.

    Whether they are a donor.

The number of open CSI's on their account and if there are any marked as urgent.

Whether they are on our Access List and any detail they have given us with regards to their Access issue.

Our Schools Header pulls through the type of school on to the Constituent Header for them too.

    Hope this helps.

    Caryl

  • Hi Giles,

We don’t have too much customisation on our standard header, just the DPA last asked date and a flag which displays some text if a customer is in a certain list. We used this recently to quickly inform the box office of who was eligible for priority booking when a show was re-scheduled.

We have a custom header for people who are merging records that displays all the information required to make a decision on which record to keep. Saves time on swapping screens and such.

  • We have a Portfolio flag for the big important donors, open CSI flag, and icons for Returns Club, Access ticket bookings and bounced emails.

It’s also useful here to have TEST ping up if you’re in test - so that people don’t put tickets and contributions through when they’ve forgotten which database they’ve got open!
