Betty Davis Collection of African American Art curated by International Arts & Artists showcases nearly 100 years of African American artwork responding to historical narratives and making bold creative statements that shape 20th-century American art as a whole. Through bold visual statements, the exhibition shows artistic responses to larger societal concerns around civil rights and social justice. This exhibition is on display at Gilcrease Museum through August 2.This exhibition is funded in part by Oklahoma Humanities (OH) and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). Any views, findings, conclusions or recommendations expressed in this program do not necessarily represent those of OH or the NEH. About Steve Liddell Steve Liddell is a singer-songwriter based in Tulsa, OK who has performed his brand of original music mixing Folk, Reggae, Jazz and Roots/Americana storytelling from coast to coast and also touring in Hawaii, Latin America and Europe. Liddell has released an album OLD SOLES and is currently in the studio recording. He has showcased in The Oklahoma Room at Folk Alliance in Kansas City 2016, 2017 and 2018.
