I have 2 separate topics I'd love your thoughts on....
1) What does your organization do for schools and payments for their field trips? Do you allow invoicing? Do you only accept credit cards? Do you expect payment up front or can they pay when they arrive at the venue with their groups? Do you give refunds on the spot for any kids that couldn't come that day (like if they said we are bringing 40 kids and 4 adults, but then only 38 kids and 4 adults actually show up do you refund the 2 kids that couldn't come)? Please share all you know about this topic.
2) Do you have your school groups book directly online for their field trip through TNEW or how do you get your school groups registered for their field trip? How do you handle any add-ons that they would do as well, like a class add-on at your venue, etc.? Is it all manual work or what cool things have you done that don't cost and arm and leg? Also, do your school bookings live on the school record or the individual teacher record in Tessitura? Please share all you know about this topic.
