Receptionist/Ticketing Assistant – Australian Brandenburg Orchestra

Australian Brandenburg Orchestra is looking to appoint a Receptionist/Ticketing Assistant to join its Ticketing Team. This position works closely with the Customer Relations Manager, Deputy Customer Relations Manager and Ticketing Executive in supporting the day-to-day administration and operations for the Reception and Ticketing areas. As the role is also they first point of contact for all guests to the office the role also works closely with the Managing Director, Executive Producer and Executive Assistant.

The successful candidate will have strong administration and customer service experience with great organisational skills. They will have a pro-active approach and work well within a team and with everyone in the company.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Being the primary contact at Reception and assist with the day-to-day operations of the office including opening and closing procedures, welcoming and looking after external visitors to the office, answering calls to the Administration phone line, and organisation of common areas including kitchen, bathrooms, stationery and meeting rooms.
  • Being a key contributor to the Customer Service of the company by answering calls to the Ticketing phone line, processing single ticket and subscription tickets sales using the CRM software Tessitura, overseeing the company’s voicemail, assist in the management of ticketing printers, ticket stock and ticket mailers/wallets, updating records in the Tessitura database, assist with the Guest Ticketing desk at concerts when required, and assist with the subscription filing

The location of the Brandenburg Office is in Mascot and free car parking is available for employees. The office is just a short walk from Mascot railway station which is seven minute train journey from Central Station.

Experience using the CRM software Tessitura is strongly desired.
