Hi! Let me take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Katie and I am the new Ticket Services Manager at Asolo Rep. I just transplanted to Florida from Pittsburgh, PA where I was the Applications Administrator & Project Coordinator for the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Consortium. Coming out of a very close knit consortium and arts community in Pittsburgh, I was hoping to find some community and knowledge sharing here, among the Gulf Coast Tessitura users. I know it would be super helpful for me to know how other arts orgs in the area go about the business of creating arts in this community. Additionally, we are undergoing some major shifts at Asolo Rep (currently searching for a new Marketing Director, if anyone wants to work with me!) so , being new to this organization myself, it would be good to have some other Tessitura peeps nearby that I could bounce ideas off of.
I hope everyone is coping well in pandemic life. I will say that waking up to sunshine and warmth instead of grey, cold, snow and ice definitely made January and February a LOT better than they would have been otherwise. So, hello! and hope to hear from some of you soon!
Welcome to the Sunshine, Katie!
I'm a former midwesterner (Ohio) so I totally understand the slow gray January/February months... I'm Senior Developemtn Officer at the Sarasota Ballet. We're part of the Opera/Orchestra/Ballet Consortium. I have no idea what I'm doing, but Stephanie Thomas and Susan Ashcraft are kind enough to put up with me and all my questions! :)
Once we're all back in the FSU offices, I'll be sure to stop over and introduce myself!
Cheers,
Chad Morrison
