Greetings SOTUG!
It's been a really long time since the SOTUG group was active and it's probably time to change that! In the past I was a bit of a ring leader but to be honest I don't think I can continue in that role anymore. I am happy to stay involved but would love to build a committee of inspired, active Tessitura users who are keen to roll up their sleeves and get involved.
If you would like to volunteer to join a SOTUG planning committee please send me an email at thebdon@national.ballet.ca and please include your name, position, organization, phone and email. I will compile a list and set up a meeting for sometime in late February with a goal to having an event sometime this spring. (ah, spring...)
The deadline to respond is end of day Monday, February 10, 2020.
You might have questions about the time commitment and what kind of work might be involved (I know I would!). Until a committee is formed it's hard to give any specifics but what I can say is that in the past there were times as we got closer to an event where the time commitment was fairly significant but most of the time it would be monthly phone calls and some emailing. Ultimately it will depend greatly on how many members there are, how involved each member is and how many events are being planned.
So, if you are interested please send me an email and join the first call to see if it's the right fit for you.
Hopefully all of your colleagues are part of the SOTUG group and have signed up for notifications but if not, feel free to share this via email.
