Hello, everyone! My organization is starting to think about the migration to version 16, and I was wondering if anyone could provide any input on the duration it took their organization and any challenges you encountered along the way. I'm a very new Database Admin to an org that has not had one before and just want to be able to give them as much information and assistance as possible. Thank you!
Hi Schneeb!Thanks for posting! We've discussed this a lot in meetings, but I haven't heard from any PNW orgs that have made the upgrade yet. I think most are planning for next spring. I would suggest posting this in the greater Database Managers Tessitura Community if you haven't already.

In addition to Kanani's suggestions I wanted to make you aware of a few resources out there in case you were not. The first is our v16 Upgrade Overview webinar. The second thing to be aware of is we are planning a multi-part webinar series around v16 upgrades, including an updated reprisal of the aforementioned upgrade webinar alongside some member based ones talking about training, testing and management of the upgrade. Stay tuned for more about those coming in 2024.I'd also recommend this excellent webinar around developing and deploying custom SSRS reports if you have any. It has some helpful hints about v16 migration of custom reports in it.Hope that helps,Heather
