Howdy folks! I'm so excited to let you know that Rachel Mills and I have volunteered to step in as co-chairs for this regional community group. We've got some big ideas and lots of energy for making this space a great resource for all of you. But for now, we'll just introduce ourselves!
I'm Eron (pronounced like "Ear - in") Huenefeld (she, her pronouns), and I'm currently serving as the Development Coordinator at TheatreSquared in Fayetteville. Next month will be my two year anniversary with T2! My husband Wayne and I moved to NWA at the beginning of 2020 from Seattle, WA. While in Seattle, I used Tessitura at Seattle Children's Theatre in multiple capacities, from box office to events to fundraising, for 10 years. I also served as the Development Director for Theatre Puget Sound for 2 years. I've attended TLCC 4 times and was active in the Seattle area community group while I lived there. I LOVE brainstorming and generative round-table convos where we can help each other with challenges and pain points we come up against. I'm always up for a conversation over a good cup of coffee (which I'm delighted to find in droves here!).
I am a theatre nerd through and through. I have a dog and two cats who are my pride and joy. I love to sing karaoke. You'll find me regularly gathering with friends for board games, card games, and TTRPGs.
Most of all, I can't wait to have a chance to connect with all of you and support each other in the incredible work we're all doing here in NWA. More to come very soon.
HOORAY if you've read this far! Before you navigate away, do me a favor and sound off in the comments with your favorite coffee order (or tea, or craft beer, or...) at your favorite spot around here. I need some new recommendations!
Yay! So excited to have you and Rachel as co-chairs!
My usual coffee order is a plain latte or cappuccino or brewed coffee with cream (can’t go wrong with one of those from The Commons at TheatreSquared :) ), but if I’m feeling decadent, the “Hail Fellow Well Met,” half-sweet, from Onyx Coffee is perfection!
Thank you Liz!!
Oh, you know I can't get enough of what The Commons is putting out. But it sounds like I need to venture to Onyx more! I've only been once, and it was great, so I will try this "Hail Fellow Well Met" next time.
