Scholarship opportunities

Professional development is vital to sustaining the nonprofit arts and culture sector. And the Tessitura Learning & Community Conference is the largest event offering learning and community-building for this sector. For TLCC Washington, D.C., Tessitura is pleased to offer 10 scholarships:

Diversity Scholarship (seven opportunities)
Emerging Leaders Scholarship (three opportunities)

Important scholarship information

Noteworthy dates

All applications and letters of recommendation must be received by April 17, 2024.
The scholarship committee will notify all candidates about its decision by May 10, 2024.
If awarded a scholarship, please confirm your participation by May 17, 2024, and register for the conference by May 31, 2024.

If you do not meet these deadlines, Tessitura reserves the right to rescind the scholarship offer.

Scholarship benefits

Scholars will be awarded complimentary conference registration. This includes:

All sessions
All networking events
All conference meals and breaks (except Tuesday evening, which is a build-your-own networking night)
Access to conference materials and presentations

Scholarship recipient expectations

We require every scholar to:

Attend the full conference and take part in sessions and networking programs to the best of their abilities
Follow our conference code of conduct

Program terms and conditions

Travel and hotel accommodations are not included in the scholarship. Scholarship recipients are responsible for their own travel and hotel arrangements. Recipients are also responsible for obtaining any visas required to enter the United States.
Multiple people from the same organization may apply. However, we will only award one scholarship to any single organization.
For TLCC Washington, D.C., applicants from organizations in North America will be prioritized.
Scholarships are non-transferable.
