Career Accelerator Program - Spring 2024 Applications Open

Hey Mountain Region! 

Tessitura offers a ten-week Career Accelerator program with the long-term goal of increasing racial and ethnic diversity in the business of arts and culture. In addition to hands-on experience using Tessitura’s CRM platform, participants will join a community of colleagues and mentors providing support and professional networking, and secure access to a library of training materials to expand their knowledge of Tessitura.

The spring session, which is open by application only, will run from February 19 – April 26, 2024 and is offered free of charge. A selection committee of Tessitura staff will select up to 24 participants from among the submitted applications.

To be eligible for this program, applicants must:

• Be located in North America
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Identify as a member of a racial or ethnic group that has been historically excluded from the arts and culture sector
• Be interested in beginning or accelerating a career in the business of arts and culture
• Be able to commit up to three hours per week during the program for self-paced online learning, group conversations, and small group mentoring sessions

Timeline for the spring 2024 session:

• Applications open on Monday, December 11, and are due by Sunday, January 21.
• Applicants will be informed of the status of their application no later than Wednesday, January 31.
• Accepted applicants will be asked to confirm participation by Sunday, February 11

Program Details

The spring session runs February 19 - April 26, 2024 and is free of charge.

• Up to three hours of self-paced online learning per week in either fundraising or ticketing (approx. $500 USD value)
• Three 90-minute group conversations with students, mentors, program staff, and invited guests
• Five 60-minute small group mentoring sessions

• Private online forum for students and mentors
• One year of access to the Tessitura Training Center graduate library of video training resources
• Full scholarship to the next North American Tessitura Learning & Community Conference (conference fees only, travel and hotel not included; approx. $1600 USD value)
