Hello Mountaineers! (I swear it'll catch on.)
If you're new, welcome to the Mountain Region Community Group! Samantha Wilson and I are your co-chairs, both based in Las Vegas, NV--she's at the Neon Museum, and I'm at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. Our regional community group covers more territory than many of the others, so our meetings have been virtual, but with TLCC around the corner, we hope to get to meet at least some of you in person! Sam and I are pretty excited about that.
Please take a second to introduce yourself. If you're not-so-new, but you haven't introduced yourself to the group yet, consider this your invitation. Who are you, from where do you hail (organization and city), what do you do there, are you going to TLCC, how was your weekend? Tell us whatever you like. We're great listeners!

(Yes to TLCC and I had a lovely weekend, how kind of you to ask!)
Hello! My name is Samantha McAllister. I am the Box Office Manager at Idaho Shakespeare Festival. I gained this particular position quite suddenly back in May of 2020 and have been learning here and there how to use Tessitura since then. I'm excited to attend my first TLCC in person! I attended the virtual one last year. We are facing the challenge of keeping our patrons cool at our outdoor amphitheater through THIS weekend. It's supposed to get up to 105 degrees on our closing night of Romeo and Juliet!
Hello Samantha!
I'd love to hear the story of how you were suddenly the Box Office Manager. And oh my goodness, 105 degrees in an outdoor amphitheater! What are you planning to do for that? YOW.
Can't wait to meet you in person in just a few weeks!
