Hi All,
I'm working on the Planning Committee for TLCC 2018 Open Space Discussions. I just wanted to reach to all of you out to you in the Mountain Region and say Hi and invite you to participate in Open Space Discussions (OSD) at this year's conference.
Open space discussions are a great opportunity to talk about the issues that are most important to you and your organizations. It's an opportunity to have a conversation with professionals like yourself in the cultural nonprofit community from around the world.
But it only works if you participate. On Sunday evening we will have the "Opening Circle" of Open Space Discussions. During this session, you will have an opportunity to convene a session on the topic(s) that are most important to you. And you will get an opportunity to hear about the subjects that are most important to the other folks attending the conference. Throughout the rest of the week, these sessions will happen with folks who are passionate about the topic you are interested in discussing. I have participated in OSD for the past three years. And these sessions have been some of the most useful of the conference.
We have made a little video that better describes the session than I can in a few words in this post.
If you have any question. Please feel free to reach out to me directly. I can answer any questions about OSD you might have.
Have a great day. See you in Orlando.
