The Company is based at the Richard J. Stern Opera Center located in the Crossroads Arts District of downtown Kansas City. The Opera Center includes the Beth Ingram Administration Building, where the Company’s offices are based above a 4000 square foot area for set storage, and the Michael and Ginger Frost Production Arts Building, housing space for Second Stage Performances, rehearsals, set construction and painting, prop storage, costume shop, and vocal coaching rooms.
About the Position: The Senior Manager of Ticketing & Patron Services is a senior member of the Ticketing & Patron Services Team. The Senior Manager of Ticketing & Patron Services will provide patron satisfaction through excellent customer service and is charged with training and supervising ticketing and patron services representatives. This position coordinates issues related to front-of-house and ticketing at both the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts and performances at the Michael and Ginger Frost Production Arts Building and represents Lyric Opera of Kansas City and is responsible for Consortium communications which includes serving on Consortium committees as needed. Builds and maintains all company events in Tessitura according to Consortium standards. Other duties include maintaining departmental budget, ticketing staff scheduling and payroll, database management, and maintaining the phone system for the Company.
