·         6:45 PM – Presentation/Discussion: Technology for Front of House

This past spring, Carnegie Hall partnered with POP to develop a prototype iPad Application for Front of House Management.  James Boncek, IT Project Manager at Carnegie Hall will share with us how the app itself is one piece of a larger suite of tools, which come together in a smooth workflow and allow for a streamlined means of digital FOH management.  This presentation will overview the features and functionality of the application as well as a technical overview of its supporting counterparts.  Find out more about James below.

·         7:15 PM – Group Discussion: Version 11

Are you thinking about your organization’s migration journey to v11? Join us for this agile retrospective where we will talk about your experiences with the v11 upgrade process. Be prepared for an interactive and insightful session where we'll ask the questions: What went well? What didn't go so well? What would you like change? We'll have plenty of time to discuss those and other questions to come up with some lessons we can all learn that will help with our current and future Tessitura upgrades. Note you do not have to be done your migration to find value and contribute to this session.

·         8:00 PM – Conclusion & Updates

James Boncek, IT Project Manager at Carnegie Hall, comes from a diverse background of performing arts, engineering, IT and web development.  Prior to his last 11 months at Carnegie Hall, James implemented Tessitura at the Fairfield Theatre Company, while he was Technical Director, managing all things technical from stage, sound and lights to servers, storage, PCs and website.  On the side, he has built and electric car, electric skateboard, and was moonlighting as an engineer developing a high tech hospital operating room.  In his short time at Carnegie Hall, James has been busy launching their first subscription series on their new web platform (Ektron), building an iPad app, and migrating to Tessitura V11 … among other things.
