This temporary position (September 2022 - March 2023) coordinates the use of data, databases (Tessitura), and application or registration systems to support the operation of Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute (WMI), the education and social impact arm of Carnegie Hall. This position is part of the Education Administration team.  
 Scope of responsibilities 

  • Compile data on program participation and attendance across the department. 
     
  •  Import program participation and attendance data into Tessitura and other systems throughout the year. 
     
  •  Provide program participation and attendance data as requested.  
     
  •  Perform ongoing maintenance and creation of WMI’s contacts and constituents in the Tessitura database.  
  •  Support the implementation of online application and registration systems for WMI programs in collaboration with Information Technology, Information Systems, outside stakeholders, and the WMI program teams.  
  •  Proactively aid in the improvement and documentation of Tessitura workflows. 
     
  •  Facilitate list generation, constituent and program data imports, storage, and reporting. 
     
  •  Perform other duties as requested. 

Special Skills Required:

  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Tessitura or other CRM (Customer Relationship Management) databases, and Acceptd or other web-based application software 
     
  •  Ability to meet deadlines and work within a fast-paced department 
     
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
     
  •  Experience analyzing data preferred, but not required 
     
  •  Experience in music or education preferred, but not required
