EVENT: Business Intelligence: The Journey to Decision Making Nirvana

Business Intelligence: The Journey to Decision Making Nirvana

"Business Intelligence" has all the earmarks of a 21st century buzzword, but it boils down to a straightforward business strategy: incorporating data analysis into day-to-day processes and decision-making. But straightforward definitions are not synonymous with straightforward implementations. Across our industry, we've recently seen great progress, but the road to Business Intelligence Nirvana is a journey. Whether your organization has a roadmap in place or is just taking it one step at a time, this type of institutional change cannot happen in one big leap. Join Alan Levine and NYC TUG colleagues for a short presentation followed by small group exercises about how to successfully understand where your organization is today and consider company culture, leadership, division of labor, resource allocation and other key business needs as you take your next steps along the path.

Regardless of where your organization is on its journey, this event is applicable to both those managing the data-gathering tools and those making the decisions.

Doors open at 6pm, with the presentation starting at 6.30.
