Version 12 is right around the corner and during April’s meeting we will get an overview from one of the first organizations to go-live and have Unconference/small group discussions surrounding v12 – but really no topics are off limits.

Heather Kraft of the Seattle Repertory Theatre and Tessitura’s Member Advisory Committee (MAC) will give you an inside look at ‘lessons learned’ by her organization, as well as giving a few tips and tricks to help navigate the v12 upgrade and ease your organization through issues of new business practices, data clean up, training and more.

Heather’s remarks will be followed by small group discussions also known as Unconference related to v12.  Let’s take this opportunity to discuss v12 implementation with our talented colleagues from around NYC.  For example:
o   Chat with other Development folks about Plans, the Plans Cube, and the new Web Interface.
o   Commiserate with other Ticketing / Box Office staff about changes in ticketing setup.
o   Geek out about changes to the REST services and Soap API.
o   Share plans for using the new initiator, owner, and recipient with other Marketers about presenting your Education programs online.
Really, the possibilities for our NYC TUG Unconference session are endless, so bring your topics to share.

Agenda for the evening:

6:00 PM – Networking & Refreshments
6:30 PM – Introductions
6:45 PM – Remarks from Heather Kraft of the Tessitura Member Advisory Committee (MAC) & Seattle Repertory Theatre
7:00 PM – Unconference Session/Small Group Discussions
8:15 PM – Closing

Heather joined Seattle Rep 15 years ago in the box office -- eventually becoming the Ticketing Services Manager. From there, Heather moved to the IT side of the theatre where she has taken on a multitude of roles. Heather has managed and grown the website from a small collection of non-interactive pages to its current responsive design with a 60% online ticket sales rate and the ability to purchase single tickets, subscriptions and gift certificates as well as online ticket exchanges. In 2005, Heather became the Seattle Rep lead for their conversion to Tessitura. She was also instrumental in guiding Seattle Children’s Theatre, Intiman, and ACT (members of the Seattle Tessitura Consortium) in their conversions to Tessitura.

Since joining the Tessitura community, Heather has been an active member of the Network forums and has served on the conference planning committee for 7 years – most of those years in a leadership role. Heather is one of the founding members of the MAC committee and has been on the leading edge of adopters of the Next Generation of Tessitura (v11 & v12). She’s also the current champion of ribbons for two years running at the conference, although this year she will gladly pass that title on to another over-achiever.
