DC Tessitura User Group Meeting May 23rd

Fellow DC Tessitura Users:

(forgive the double message here and on Google Groups -- I wanted to make sure everyone received this):
at our lunch at Zaytinya, we discussed a follow-up gathering.    I'd like to propose Thursday, May 23rd from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.   Natali Fusillo has graciously offered to host the meeting at the National Geographic Society, which is centrally located downtown.   Don Youngberg from the Tessitura Network will be in town and is thrilled to be able to join us.

If you would like to attend, please send me an email at aclevine@kennedy-center.org, with a subject of "DC Tessitura User Group Meeting May 23rd".   We'd like to get a count as soon as possible.   Also indicate if there is a topic you would like to discuss or present on.

I look forward to seeing you at the National Geographic!

Best regards,

Alan
  • Hi, Everyone.

So far we have about 23 RSVP’s, so we should have a great group for May 23rd.   It looks like we will be fortunate to be joined by three members of the Tessitura Network staff as well.   If you have not yet RSVP’d, please do so!

We’d like to solicit presenters and topics so please let me know if you are interesting in speaking or sharing anything about your organization and/or ways in which you are using Tessitura, or anything you’d like to hear about from another organization.    It would also be great to discuss any questions or topics that folks would just like to have a roundtable on to hear how others are addressing certain needs, so please feel free to suggest any topics along those lines as well.

One topic that has been suggested thus far is to discuss each “others experience with v11, T-Stats, dashboards, etc.”

Our hosts, National Geographic, will present to the group, and of course we will  hear from Don Youngberg and the Tessitura team.     I’d like to share some ideas about how the Kennedy Center might be able to offer  you some print shop services at very low cost.

Topics can cover anything of potential interest or benefit to the group and are not required to be solely Tessitura focused.   So please share any thoughts you have!

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks,

    Alan

I think we have every organization represented except Studio Theater – so if any of you know anyone at Studio, please let them know about our gathering.

    See you Thursday!

I am looking forward to seeing everyone next week!  (Forgive the duplicate message, but I understand some people are in the group on the Tessitura website and some are on the Google group, but not everyone is on both).

NOTE:  the meeting time has been changed to 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM (instead of 8:00 AM) so that our meeting fits better into the availability of the room at National Geographic.

Here is our proposed agenda, but if anyone has different suggestions, we are open and flexible!

    > 9:00 AM    15 minutes: Intros
    > 9:15 AM    10 minutes: National Geographic presentation
    > 9:25 AM    30 minutes:  Roundtable Topics/discussion
    > 9:55 AM    10 Minutes:  Shared Print Services
    > 10:05 AM  15 Minutes:  Tessitura Update from Network staff
    > 10:20 AM  30 minutes: breakouts
    > 10:50 AM  10 minutes: wrap-up, next gathering

Please suggest topics for the Roundtable Discussion.   One topic suggested thus far is Dynamic Pricing.

    See you next week!

    Alan
