Hi, everyone,
It definitely seems time to plan our next meeting! Should we aim for something in April?
If you are intrested in hosting the group at your facility, or leading and or assisting with planning the meeting, would you email me directly at aclevine@kennedy-center.org?
thanks in advance!

Looks like we missed the April Date...
Do we want to try and meet this late spring/summer before the conference?
Brian,
thanks for following up on this, and being the first to reply, I hadn’t heard from anyone else. What about it folks, anyone interested in organizing another DC Tess gathering between now and TLCC?

Alan and Brian,
Thanks for asking. I think it would be great to have another DC meeting - before the conference. If I can make it down for the meeting I would love to join the group.
I am attending a Seattle Meeting (SEATUG) tomorrow at the EMP Museum - looks like we will have 100+ people there - very exciting. It is great seeing our users interact and often meet each other for the first time.
I hope the DC Meeting happens this spring.
Don
Hi Alan and Brian!
We're also interested in having another TUG before the conference and happy to host again here at National Geographic Headquarters if needed!
Do we have ideas for topics already? Does anyone have burning questions?
Warm Regards,
Andrea Williams
Hi all,
I know we discussed perhaps breaking out into marketing/development/other groups at the last meeting. I think this would be a great idea to have some more targeted discussions. Is this idea still on the table?

Stephanie,
I think that would be a great idea in addition to some group topics/updates. I will look forward to joining you all for a DC/Baltimore area meeting soon. Thank you Andrea for volunteering your space again – it was wonderful the last time. Alan, please let me know if there is anything that I can do to assist.

I agree, the breakout groups seem like a good way to go. I am sure there will be a great deal of synergy and it can be as formal or informal as we like.
Rebecca, Andrea, since Brian and I have had our turns coordinating, would either/both of you be willing to take on the leadership role on this one? I’m very happy to help out, and will also work to suggest some topics with my colleagues here at the Kennedy Center.
Let me know if that works for you!

I think it would be valuable to have a meeting where we break into groups: Devo, Marketing, IT, and perhaps education? We would need however, volunteers to create topics and lead the discussions. Ideally smaller breakout rooms would help.
If this requires too much work, I’m always happy to arrange a lunch at Zaytinya as before, and we could sit together in groups for an informal arrangement.
Thoughts? Any volunteers to lead discussions?

Hi Alan,
Thank you for the suggestion. I'm more than happy to help, though I'm still new to the DC area and have a busy summer ahead, thus would appreciate the opportunity to coordinate with a second point person. Is anyone interested?
Andrea
