Hope everyone is having a good start to the new year. I wanted to put a couple of discussion topics out there in case anyone had some ideas.
1. Scalped Tickets - For a few of our most popular NGLive events we have experienced some scalping happening right in our lobby in front of us. We are working with our Development team to offer an option for patrons to donate their ticket back to us (and in turn receive a receipt) so that we can re-sell these tickets at face value. While we hope this will help I wanted to see what other policies exist for unused/unwanted tickets the night of a show. Additionally, how do you deal with scalping?
2. Third Party Vouchers - Our Group Sales Specialist is working with a number of tour operators to set up voucher-based offers but we are having some issues balancing our reconciliation with fulfillment. If anyone has 3rd party vouchers set up in Tessitura can you let me know? It would be great to set up a time to chat with you.
